The ongoing issue of reduced ticket prices in the state of Andhra Pradesh is bringing pressure on big heroes to solve the issue with an amicable solution between the government and film industry.
For this purpose the bigwigs of the industry met Chiranjeevi at his residence to discuss what proposal should be kept on the CM's table in the interest of industry.
As the industry people got an appointment to meet the CM to discuss this issue, this preliminary meeting was held as a mock drill. But nothing was concluded though different members have come up with different ideas.
Megastar invited Nagarjuna, Koratala Shiva, VV Vinayak and Meher Ramesh who are close to him. No other hero or big director is seen. Dil Raju, Sunil Narang, Allu Aravind and Suresh Babu are there in the meeting representing Producers' Guild and Distributors.
Mega Star and his core team opined that there should be free hand to increase the ticket prices in the first two weeks and then the system can follow as per the GO but with a little correction in the prices.
To this, others in the meeting disagreed and said that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the idea of common man friendly prices so this idea will bring more negative results than the positive.
A director in the meeting proposed that the ticket rates in the first week should be allowed to fly upto Rs 500 and the rest of the days the GO can be followed.
The others expressed their denial again stating that the CM would make things worse with these kinds of proposals.
Finally all the members decided to meet again to finalise what to discuss with the AP CM.
The bottomline is that Balakrishna was not invited again to this important meeting. Even before, Balayya expressed his anger and disappointment that he is not being invited for any meeting. But still, he was ignored by the members of this meeting.
