Senior actors like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, and Venkatesh have decided not to resume the shoots until the curve of coronavirus cases flatten.
Even top stars such as Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, NTR and Ram Charan will stay away from the shoots for another couple of months.
But the month of September will witness huge activity in Tollywood thanks to several medium-range projects and small movies are hitting the floors.
Naga Shaurya’s new film will commence the shoot in Hyderabad from the first week of September. Nikhil Siddharth and Nithin have decided to get back to the sets next month.
Varun Tej’s boxing drama and Sai Dharam Tej’s political thriller are set to resume the shoots. Director Krish has already begun shooting his new film with Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet.
Nani has also expressed his intent to join the sets of “Tuck Jagadish” from October.
Besides these movies, more than 30 new web movies and web series are going to launch their production from September in various studios in Hyderabad. So, the Tollywood industry is buzzing with activity after a long gap.
