Hero Nagarjuna Akkineni said his upcoming movie 'Manmadhudu 2' is all about how a middle aged person can be bullied into doing things and someone who is leading a double life.
Interacting the media, Nag said initially he did not have any thoughts of making a rom-com at present. But somehow a French film intrigued him.
"After watching the French movie, I thought it's a tailor made film for me. 'Manmadhudu 2' is not just about romance and love. The character Sam loves his mother and doesn't want to disappoint her. At the same he doesn't want to compromise on his life. How he balances them and what happens when Avantika arrives in his life forms the plot," revealed Nagarjuna.
About Rahul Ravindran, Nag said, he knows the sensibilities and also knows how to extract performance from actors.
"When directors know to take the content for actors, it will easy for us as actors also. Along with cinematographer, Sukumar, Rahul made sure shooting progressed smoothly," added Nagarjuna.
On the music of 'Manmadhudu 2,' Nagarjuna said, "I liked 'RX100' songs very much and I wanted him to compose music for this film. He has delivered the best tunes for this film and I'm very happy with it."
Nag further said Viacom18 were looking to associate with us and finally it worked with 'Manmadhudu 2.'
The film is releasing on August 9th.
