Veteran actor Manchu Mohan Babu’s family, which had hit the headlines following internal family disputes, has once again been in the wrong news on Tuesday.
The social media has been agog with rumours that Mohan Babu's staff allegedly hunted wild boars in the Jalpally forest area.
Several allegations have been made against Manager Kiran, including transporting a hunted wild boar. Electrician Durga Prasad is alleged to have hunted and transported the animal.
According to reports, Mohan Babu’s son Manchu Manoj raised objections multiple times, condemning the actions of Kiran and Durga Prasad, who ignored warnings against hunting wild boars.
A video of Manager Kiran allegedly carrying the hunted wild boar has gone viral on social media. However, there is no confirmation about when the hunting had occurred and when the video was taken.
Yet, the animal lovers are fuming at the brazen killing of wild boars by Mohan Babu’s staff and have demanded that the government take stringent action against those who had indulged in hunting.
“This is nothing but gross violation of Wild Life Protection Act. The forest department authorities should conduct an inquiry and take stringent action against those who resorted to killing of wild boars,” an animal rights activist said.
