Lavanya Tripathi, who is known for playing versatile roles as a leading man, and Malayalam actor Dev Mohan have teamed up for a breezy entertainer.
Titled Sati Leelavati, the film is directed by Tatineni Satya. The film, which is presented by Anandi Art Creations and produced by Nagamohan Babu M and Rajesh T under Durgadevi Pictures and Trio Studios Banners, was formally launched with a pooja ceremony on Monday.
Mega Prince Varun Tej attended the event as a special guest. Producer Harish Peddi sounded the clapboard. Mega Prince Varun Tej switched on the camera while senior director TLV Prasad directed the first shot.
Director Tatineni Satya who earlier made films like Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu and Shiva Manasulo Shruti (SMS) shared, “Sathi Leelavathi' is being made as a feel good and breezy entertainer.
The film is a romantic drama with all elements that impresses audiences of all classes. Lavanya Tripathi and Dev Mohan's fresh look and pairing will be a major highlight. The regular shoot of the film will also commence from today."
