The pre-release event of Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, was celebrated in grand fashion today, drawing a massive crowd. The evening was made even more special with the presence of NTR as the chief guest.
Vijayashanthi, who played Kalyan Ram’s mother in the film, described it as a full-fledged commercial entertainer rooted in strong emotions. “It’s a story about a mother’s desperation and a son’s determination,” she said.
“The emotional conflict between us is something you’ll truly understand only after watching the film. I gave this project my all, and with every scene we shot, my confidence grew. I genuinely believe this will be a super-duper hit. We want to dedicate this film to every woman out there. NTR is not just a phenomenal dancer and a brilliant actor, but also a wonderful human being. Seeing NTR and Kalyan Ram together on stage reminded me of Ram and Lakshman.”
Kalyan Ram kept his speech crisp yet impactful.
“We do many films- some succeed, some don’t. But most fade from memory as soon as we step out of the theatre. Once in a while, though, a film stays with you, not just as an actor but as an audience member. Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is one such film. It’s going to leave a lasting impression.”
NTR had high praise for Vijayashanthi, stating that her presence on set made him and Kalyan Ram feel like they hadn’t missed their father.
“No other woman has accomplished what she has. She stood toe-to-toe with the biggest male stars,” he said.
He also revealed that he had already watched the movie.
“Mark my words — the last 20 minutes of the film will leave you in tears. And the reason the climax lands so powerfully is Kalyan Anna. If he hadn’t believed in this story, this film wouldn’t have happened.”
With the trailer already generating strong buzz, Arjun S/O Vyjayanthi is set to hit theatres on the 18th of this month, and expectations couldn’t be higher.
