Kiara Advani was the first choice to play the female lead in Prabhas’s mega epic drama “Adipurush”.
Then came the name of Anushka Sharma for the heroine. But Anushka Sharma is now expecting her first child with her husband Virat Kohli.
The latest reports from Bollywood indicate that the makers have now approached Kriti Sanon to play the female lead.
However, the makers have not officially signed her for the role of Sita. Kriti made her debut in Telugu opposite Mahesh Babu in “1 Nenokkadine”.
Touted to be an adaptation of Ramayana, Prabhas will appear as Lord Rama, and Saif Ali Khan will play Ravana. Directed by Om Raut, the epic drama will hit the floors in early 2021.
Deepika Padukone has signed to play the female lead in Prabhas’s other movie, to be directed by Nag Ashwin.
