Prabhas starrer “Radhe Shyam” is running in the theaters. In contrast to his image, Prabhas has played a romantic role in the epic love story, and he also shared screen space with his pedda nanna ‘Rebel Star’ Krishnam Raju.
The senior actor’s daughter Praseedha made her debut as co-producer. So, it was double joy for Krishnam Raju.
He played the role of Paramahamsa, a renowned astrologer.
“I liked the story and my role. Paramahamsa is like Ramakrishna Paramahamsa and Swami Vivekananda. I enjoyed playing it. In one of his interviews, Prabhas said he was flabbergasted by seeing me in that getup. He thought I looked like a God. It was the best compliment,” Krishnam Raju said.
Speaking about the delay in the film’s production, Krishnam Raju added that Prabhas would make sure to have two releases in a year.
“Radhe Shyam’s production got delayed due to COVID19 crisis. But now, you will see Prabhas on screen more frequently,” he added.
Krishnam Raju said that he would love to see Prabhas in the remake of “Manavoori Pandavulu”. It was one of the memorable hits in the senior actor’s career. He also mentioned that ‘Varsham’ is his favorite among Prabhas’s movies.
He didn’t skip replying to the oft-repeated question about Prabhas’s marriage.
“I would love to see him getting married as early as possible. I want to play with his son or daughter,” he hoped.
