Veteran music director Koti has publicly defended Oscar-winning composer MM Keeravani, criticizing senior filmmaker Geetha Krishna for his inflammatory remarks.
Koti urged Geetha Krishna and others making slanderous allegations to end the controversy, emphasizing that Keeravani has built his career through immense hard work and passion.
The controversy erupted after Pravasthi Aaradhya, a former child contestant on Padutha Theeyaga, alleged that she faced unfair treatment and bias from the show's judges, including Keeravani, singer Sunitha, and lyricist Chandrabose.
Supporting Pravasthi, Geetha Krishna escalated the matter by making sensational accusations, labeling Keeravani as immoral and even demanding that a POCSO case be filed against him.
In response, Koti released a video urging restraint and maturity.
"In every show or program, minor issues arise. We shouldn’t blow them out of proportion. We must address them and move forward," Koti said.
"I have great respect for Geetha Krishna, who has delivered remarkable films during his career. But it is time to stop making such allegations and bring this entire issue to a close," he appealed.
