The trailer of the film 'Konda Polam' starring Vaishnav Tej and Rakul Preet was released today. The caption under the title is "An epic tale of 'becoming''"- which is vague.
The purpose of any trailer is to pull the attention and interest of the audience, but that didn't happen reasonably. There are no gripping dialogues either in this trailer.
The trailer presents Vaishnav Tej as a well-educated youngster from a shepherd family who gets rejected in all the interviews.
After four years of failed attempts in the city for a job, he goes back to his native place. As suggested by his grandfather, he takes the responsibility of becoming a shepherd. In the process, he falls in love with a shepherdess Obulamma played by Rakul Preet Singh.
The adventurous acts of the protagonist protecting sheep from wild animals in the forest forms the story.
Directed by Krish and produced by First Frame Entertainments, the film has the music scored by MM Keeravani.
Vaishnav Tej looks stoic with no change in expressions throughout.
On a whole, the background score sounds like an epic though the content is not instantly coinnceting. The film is set to release on the 8th of October.
