Superstar Rajinikanth holds the record in Telugu states for delivering the biggest hit with a dubbed movie.
His “2.0” collected more than Rs 70 crore in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The record is all set to be smashed by Kannada star Yash.
“KGF Chapter 2” has completed its first week run on a glorious note. The film has collected Rs 33 crore in Telangana, by becoming one of the all-time highest grossers in the region.
In both the Telugu states put together, “KGF Chapter 2” has collected about 64 crores in the first week. This is a massive number for a dubbed movie.
Until the arrival of “Acharya” on April 29, the film will have an impressive run without any competition.
So, it will break Rajinikanth’s record and emerge as the biggest grosser among dubbed movies in Telugus states.
