Many had predicted Rajamouli's "RRR" would set a new record on the first day in North given his brand name and "Baahubali" factor.
However, it had a pretty ordinary opening on the first day and later picked up in a big way.
But Bollywood trade analysts are gung ho about the advance ticket sales of director Prashanth Neel and Yash's "KGF Chapter 2".
The trend, as they say, is that the film would shatter all existing records in the Hindi post-pandemic period.
As of today, "KGF 2" has about Rs 10 Cr advance sales. If this trend continues, the film is expected to get an opening of Rs 25 to 30 Cr for the Hindi version.
"KGF Chapter 2" is the second part of "KGF".
Interestingly, the trend is similar in other languages. Kerala and Karnataka are showing massive advance sales.
It is interesting to see how massive the openings would be in Telugu states.
