Keerthy Suresh made her Bollywood debut last year in Baby John, alongside Varun Dhawan and Wamiqa Gabbi. While the film didn’t fare well at the box office, Keerthy’s screen presence caught significant attention.
According to Filmfare, Keerthy is in talks for a Bollywood romantic comedy, and reports now suggest that she may be paired opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
Though details are still under wraps and it’s unclear if this is the same rom-com she was previously linked to, the fresh pairing has already sparked excitement among fans.
If confirmed, it would mark Keerthy and Ranbir’s first on-screen collaboration—an interesting mix of talent that promises something refreshing.
On the work front, Keerthy is also gearing up for Akka, a revenge thriller set in the fictional South Indian city of Pernuru.
The film also stars Radhika Apte, Tanvi Azmi, and Diptii Salvi, and is set to stream on Netflix, though the release date is yet to be announced.
Akka follows Keerthy’s character as the leader of an all-women gang, while Radhika’s character is out to dismantle her operations.
The film comes on the heels of another female-driven project, Dabba Cartel, which has gained attention for its powerful storytelling.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
His last release, Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was a major box office success.
