Karthi’s spy action-thriller Sardar where the actor appeared din dual roles as a father and a son was a runaway hit in Tamil as well as Telugu.
The makers already announced the sequel for the movie, for the release of the prequel. Sardar was launched recently and it is set to go on sets from the 15th of this month in Chennai. Grand sets are erected for the shoot.
PS Mithran who helmed the prequel will wield the megaphone for the sequel also, while S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures will produce it.
It was already revealed that the son role played by Karthi offered to join the RAW agency and his first task is in Cambodia.
Yuvan Shankar Raja and George C Williams will handle the music and camera departments respectively for the movie to be crafted on a big canvas.
Like part 1, the sequel is also inspired by real incidents.
