The makers of Karthi’s latest flick Japan recently kick-started the promotions by unveiling its teaser which presented the protagonist as a most wanted thief.
Today, the makers released a theatrical trailer of the movie. It begins with the protagonist narrating a tale of a small fish that started stealing at the age of 10, and it has become a whale now.
Karthi is that fish who becomes popular for his unique way of stealing. A big robbery of 200 Cr takes place at a minister’s residence and Japan is the main suspect.
It is unclear whether the robbery was done by Japan or he’s trapped in the robbery and murder case. However, Japan who doesn’t care much about all these happenings chill out with his girlfriend.
Will the police catch him? Who is the robber? The trailer that raises these questions is entertaining and engaging.
Karthi looked humorous, whereas his acts were suspicious. He appeared in different get-ups. Anu Emmanuel looked glamorous as Karthi’s ladylove.
Director Raju Murugan made this one as a quirky and action-packed entertainer coupled with thrilling elements.
Ravi Varman’s visuals and GV Prakash Kumar’s music support the narrative so well. The production values of Dream Warrior Pictures are top-notch.
Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios is releasing the Telugu version of the movie. Japan is set to arrive in cinemas for this Diwali.
