The makers of 'Karthieya 2' seems to have still undecided about the release date after getting postponed.
Starring Nikhil Siddharth and Anupama Parameswaran, 'Karthikeya 2' was to release on 22nd July, but the makers pulled out from this slot when producer Dil Raju locked the same date for 'Thank You'.
But the makers are now struggling to find a date. Neither August 5 nor August 12 are ideal for them.
Kalyan Ram's 'Bimbisara' and Dulquer Salmaan’s 'Sita Ramam' are going ahead with aggressive promotions. These two films have locked August 5th as the date. Neither of these movies has plans to back out.
On August 12, Nithiin's 'Macharla Niyojakavargam' is hitting the screens. Nikhil Siddharth may have to compete with Nithin’s film or wait until the third week of August.
With so much confusion, the makers have not announced the date despite releasing teasers in Hindi and Tamil today.
'Karthikeya 2' is the sequel to the super hit, Karthikeya. The film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti and bankrolled by People’s Media Factory.
