The anticipation built as they released a video preview, but to fans' surprise, it only revealed the character introduction of Ashwatthama, portrayed by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan. Disappointingly, there was no mention of a release date.

In "Kalki 2898 AD," Prabhas assumes the role of Bhairava, while Amitabh Bachchan embodies Ashwatthama in the dystopian thriller. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani portray the female leads, with Kamal Haasan portraying the antagonist.
Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by C Ashwini Dutt, the film has been in production for over four years.
