Director Nag Ashwin’s unique sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD is literally sensational in North India with day two collections on par with the opening day in many areas and bigger numbers in a few territories, indicating the blockbuster success of the movie.
While this Prabhas starrer is on a rampage in Nizam and many parts of Andhra Pradesh, it is somewhat decent in C centers, probably because of high ticket prices. However, the other areas are covering up for the decent collections in mass areas.
The weekend holidays begin today and the movie is going to register massive collections on day 3 (Saturday) and day 4 (Sunday).
In recent times, no Indian movie won the appreciation of both critics and audiences. However, Kalki 2898 AD impressed one and all.
While many high-budget films depended highly on digital business to recover the budget. Seemingly, it’s a cakewalk for this most expensive Indian film Kalki 2898 AD to enter the profit zone through the theatrical business alone.
The movie amassed close to 300 Cr gross worldwide in its 2 days run.
