Kalki OTT Release: Heavy Trolls From North India

Kalki OTT Release: Heavy Trolls From North India

Kalki, starring Prabhas, was a massive worldwide hit and enjoyed significant success in the North Belt of India as well, where the Hindi version even outperformed the Telugu version. The movie was well-received by the Hindi audience.

However, it is ironic that the same audience who contributed to the film’s success in theaters is now criticizing it on OTT platforms.

The controversy began with Arshad Warsi's recent remarks, where he criticized Prabhas, suggesting that he looked like a joker in Kalki.

This criticism has sparked an uproar in Tollywood. Prabhas fans have been vocal on social media, creating memes and morphed images to troll Arshad Warsi.

Additionally, actors like Nani, Sharwanand, and Sudheer Babu have condemned Warsi's comments.

In response, some supporters from the North have rallied behind Arshad Warsi and are now trolling Kalki on OTT platforms. During this period, the film's OTT release has become a battleground for these disputes.

Bollywood audiences are expressing their dissatisfaction with the OTT version, cutting clips of Prabhas and comparing his appearance and performance with C-grade Bollywood actors.

Prabhas' hairstyle and beard are receiving negative comments, and some posts label Kalki as the worst movie.

Clips featuring Prabhas' comedic moments in the film are being compared to Arshad’s comments, leading to further criticism.

It is disheartening to see Kalki, which was once celebrated, now being used as a target for trolling.
