As Kalki 2898 AD nears its release, it is already being hailed as the biggest film ever from Telugu cinema, promising to surprise and engage audiences with its innovative storytelling and stunning visuals.
Director Nag Ashwin has been sharing many insights about the film through a prelude series, where he explains the process and plot.
As part of this series, the team recently released Episode 2, where Ashwin elaborates on the three different worlds in Kalki 2898 AD.
Commenting on this, Nag Ashwin said, "The first city in the world and the last city in this world. We started the script of Kalki with this idea in mind. Kashi, Complex, and Shambala are the three main worlds, and the story unfolds among them. Each world was designed with a unique approach."
This world-building has heightened anticipation for the film’s release. Starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, this magnum opus, produced by Vyjayanthi Films on a whopping budget, is set to hit screens worldwide on June 27th.
