TDP Hindupur MLA and Actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's 50 Years of Career event was held on a grand scale today.
Many guests were invited, but Chandrababu Naidu was absent due to the floods in Andhra Pradesh, and Revanth Reddy also missed the event for similar reasons. However, many other senior actors and celebrities have attended.
There was news that Nandamuri Ramakrishna was given the responsibility to invite all the kin of the Nandamuri family. It is not clear whether NTR and Kalyan Ram were invited or not, but their absence from the event indicates a certain distance.
Last time when NTR was invited for the 100 Years of NTR event, he was abroad and did not attend. This time, he chose to stay busy touring pilgrim centers in Karnataka along with his mother.
Thus, NTR has shown his true character today. He has maintained a distance from Balakrishna and the family for the last few years, and many assumed he did not care for them since they were out of power. Even now, when the TDP is in power, he has maintained that distance.
This speaks about his strong character and fearlessness. Kalyan Ram also followed NTR’s decision, which is another point worth noting.
NTR has a film release, Devara, this month. Despite this, he did not seek to patch up with the Nandamuri family for additional support from Nandamuri fans by attending this event. He is moving forward on his own merit.
NTR has neither insulted nor disrespected the Nandamuri family before, nor is he engaging in sycophancy now. He stands firm in his individuality.
