The popular production house Vels Film International is set to release a fantasy horror-thriller, Aghathiyaa, which features a gripping time-travel theme.
Starring Jiiva, Arjun, Raashi Khanna, and Matilda, the film is directed by Pa Vijay and is slated for release on the 31st of this month.
The film’s teaser has been released, offering a sneak peek into the story set in an eerie bungalow on an island.
In 1940, during the British Raj, a series of strange and mysterious incidents unfold. The story then jumps to the present day, where Jiiva and his girlfriend, played by Raashi Khanna, decide to venture into the same bungalow. It is here that the mystery begins to unravel.
As they encounter increasingly bizarre occurrences, they begin to realize that their experiences are linked to the past, raising the question: What connection do they share with the terrifying events that took place 82 years ago?
Arjun appears in a grey-shaded role, while the teaser also introduces other key characters, including Yogi Babu, Edward Sonnenblick, Redin Kingsley, and VTV Ganesh.
