Jeevitha and Rajasekhar's younger daughter Shivathmika’s debut film “Dorasaani” has not able to draw audiences to the theaters.
While the reviews were largely mixed, the collections have been on the lower side.
The film also happens to be a debut movie for Anand Deverakonda, Vijay Deverakonda’s younger brother.
Jeevitha blames reviews for the low collections.
“When we were acting in films, reviews used to appear in media a week later after the release. Now reviews are coming like live commentary. I request critics not to be harsh on low or medium budget movies. I understand that all films cannot be superb. There can be above average movies,” she said.
Interestingly, her husband Rajasekhar interrupted her speech and said he would not read reviews or trollers. But Jeevitha tried to tell in a more clearer way. She said she liked the performances of both her daughter and Anand’s.
She has requested the critics to be positive towards average and above-average movies.
