‘Jathi Ratnalu’ had a dream run at the box-office. The film was a laugh riot.
Though it featured relatively upcoming actor Naveen Polishetty in the lead role, the film went on to collect about Rs 30 crore worldwide.
The film, which was released on Maha Shivaratri, has completed its run for two weeks. Except in some centers and multi-plexes, the movie’s run has almost ended.
It saw a huge fall in collections last weekend itself, however, the film got benefited from the failure of ‘Chaavu Kaburu Challaga’, ‘Mosagallu’ and ‘Sasi’.
It is now posting negligible collections. With the arrival of biggies like Nithin’s “Rang De” and Rana’s “Aranya”, it may not stand much chance.
In the USA, the film is set to achieve the $1 million mark. It has almost neared this milestone.
