As the Andhra Pradesh government is gearing up for the distribution of the much-publicised Krishnapatnam medicine by Ayurvedic practioner Bonige Anandaiah shortly, the debate over its efficacy continues to rage in the mainstream media as well as social media.
However, Anandaiah’s medicine has got the support from many big people, including Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu.
With the Centre also giving a green signal for the same, the support for the medicine has been gaining ground.
On Thursday, it was the turn of popular Tollywood actor Jagapathi Babu to give clean chit to the Anandaiah medicine.
Inaugurating an Ayurvedic hospital in Hyderabad, he said he had consumed Anandaiah’s medicine and was perfectly alright.
“I have not got any side effects after taking one dose of this Ayurvedic medicine. By the grace of the god, I have not got Covid-19, too, till now,” he said.
Jagapathi Babu said he had gone in for Anandaiah’s medicine after going through several videos and made a thorough analysis of the ingredients of the medicine.
“I am happy to take that medicine and I endorse the same,” he said.
Meanwhile, the state government also gave green signal for the eye drops of Anandaiah, after withholding the same for three days.
The government told the high court that it had no objection for the distribution of eye drops as well, as the reports suggested there are no harmful effects of the drops.
