Director Prashanth Varma with his first three films proved to be an innovative filmmaker.
Capitalizing on the lockdown break, he has been working on scripts of various projects.
Prashanth has completed script of Awe sequel and is readying the script of Zombie Reddy’s sequel.
He has a film with Samantha, but it is getting delayed due to call sheet issues.
“When Samantha was free, I was occupied with other project and vice versa,” informs the director.
Varma has offered story for Hot Star and has prepared two other stories for two web-series.
“While one project will be made in Hindi, the other will be in Telugu,” he notifies.
Prashanth asserted, “I’ve decided to make crazy concepts for OTTs, while feature films will have all commercial elements.”
About his dream project, “I have been working on a story for last 10 years. It’s a mythological socio-fantasy. I don’t think I have enough experience to make the film now. However, I’m hoping to make my dream project at the earliest.”
Prashanth Varma further informed that he chose a different genre for his next film.
“We haven’t yet finalized the actor for the film. If any star will be available by the time we begin the project, we will make it with him or else I’ll make it with upcoming actors. We will announce other details in a couple of weeks.”
