All the biggies are getting postponed. The theatrical market is yet to bounce back. The footfalls in the theaters are abysmally low.
A Bollywood biggie like Akshay Kumar’s “Bell Bottom” had garnered mere Rs 6 crore in entire India in the three days.
Taking the current situation into account, the big-budgeted Pan-Indian projects are getting postponed to next year.
Rajamouli and his team are yet to announce a new release date of “RRR”. But the makers of the “KGF Chapter” had announced the new date. The film will hit theaters worldwide on April 14, 2022.
Interestingly, director Prashanth Neel had earlier announced April 14th as the release date for “Salaar”, his current movie starring Prabhas. But “Salaar” will hit the screens in 2022. So, “KGF 2” has captured the same date as “Salaar”.
“KGF 2” is one of the biggest movies in production in India. Starring Kannada star Yash as Rocky, the film is directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films.
Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Rao Ramesh are part of the ensemble cast.
