By now, everyone knows that Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Acharya” got postponed. The team is looking at the August release.
Now, the makers have made it official that the film will not be hitting the screens on May 13.
“The film's postponement is because of the pandemic becoming fierce,” the statement read.
Furthermore, the producers said that the new release date will be finalized once the situation becomes normal.
Directed by Koratala Siva, “Acharya” has Chiranjeevi playing the title role. His son Ram Charan appears as Siddha in a guest role. Niranjan Reddy is producing the film.
In director Koratala Siva’s career, “Acharya” is the first film that has been in the making for nearly three years.
