Until the release of Ishq, Nithiin was going through toughest phase of his career with numerous consecutive flops.
Helmed by Vikram K Kumar, the film provided much needed break for Nithiin and it’s a game changer for him.
The production house Shresht Movies had brought in National Award-winning technicians PC Sreeram and A Sreekar Prasad for the movie.
Ishq completes a decade after its release today and Nithiin is now one of the bankable stars of Tollywood.
Nithiin says Ishq will always remain to be a memorable film in his career. “Ishq is almost like a rebirth for me as an actor. I thank my director Vikram K Kumar from bottom of my heart for the opportunity.”
Director Vikram K Kumar affirms Ishq is remembered primarily for Nithiin-Nithya Menen’s magical chemistry, PC Sreeram’s visuals and Anup Rubens’ wonderful songs.
Ishq was second film for Nithya Menen in Telugu and she also sung the song Priya Priya. “I still remember singing the song and getting my first payment for song from Anup. We all are in different places right now. But hopefully we’ll be able to meet and celebrate this.”
