![Is Sukumar-Allu Arjun's 'Pushpa' Story Plagiarized?](https://www.greatandhra.com/newphotos8/pushpa_pol1598428683.jpg)
The agony of a writer posted on social media in a satirical way is seeing light now. The issue is about the story line of Allu Arjun starrer "Pushpa", directed by Sukumar.
It is known that the film is yet to go to the sets. The first look of the film was released and the unexpected lockdown has paused the developments of the film.
Freshly, a post on social media is in discussion. Here it is:
"Consider this either as a suggestion or advice or an anguish of a writer. You may use the story or a book or an article that was written earlier. Since it is not something new to Tollywood to plagiarize the creativity of writers, you pilfer whatever you want and prey on it .
You may use my complete story titled "Tamila Coolie" published in Sakshi Sunday Supplement of 4th November 2018.
You may also take the excerpts from my 80 page book "Erra Chandanam Darilo Tamila Coolie lu" published in November 2019.
You may don't even mention the reference of the books and works in the film. Also let me know if you are attacked by coronavirus. We, the Telugu writers will donate plasma to you".
This is the lamenting post by Dr Vempalli Gangadhar on social media.
The comments under the post reveal many other things. A comment says that Aravinda Sametha was made by getting inspired from "Mondi Kathi" written by the same writer.
Some are advising Dr Vempalli Gangadhar to get into a legal battle with the makers of "Pushpa".
On the other hand some are suggesting him to stop making news out of it as anybody can write a story and make films on red sandalwood smugglers as it has been in public domain.
We have to see where this controversy goes and how it ends.
