Director Rajamouli has decided to release his “RRR” for Sankranthi 2022 festival. His team and producer Danayya informed the distributors and other producers about their plans.
There is a reason why he is keen on releasing the film for this festival. He is said to be facing pressure from the Hindi producer Jayantilal Gada who bought the film’s India theatrical rights (Hindi version) for a whopping amount.
He also bought satellite and digital rights. But he sold them off to various channels and OTT companies.
Rajamouli and his team agreed that they would release the film on or before January 2022. If they fail to bring the movie to the theaters for Sankranthi, their agreement and deal might go for a change.
Jayantilal Gada may ask deduction in the overall price. Rajamouli is worrying about this aspect.
“RRR” stars NTR and Ram Charan as the lead heroes. The film will be released in many languages.
