Is 'Pushpa2' Team Inflating Collections?

The release of Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun, has been a huge success, particularly in North India, where it has broken records.

The film has undoubtedly struck a chord with Hindi-speaking audiences both in India and the United States.

While the production team’s claims about the movie’s earnings in the Hindi market seem valid, the reported figure of Rs1000 crore in just six days has sparked controversy.

Many online users have raised doubts, suggesting that the film's total collections might have been inflated by over Rs100 crore.

Critics point out that the revenue from the Telugu version of the film in India saw a sharp decline in the last few days of its first week.

Despite this, the producers posted impressive numbers, claiming Rs 1000 crore by day six, even though actual figures were closer to Rs 950 crore, as per Sacnilk.

The discrepancies have led some to believe that the Pushpa 2 team may be exaggerating the film's financial success to boost its image and draw even more attention with some records.
