Since it is difficult to get the convincing new stories all the time star heroes depend on the remakes. But the situation has changed with the OTT revolution. Even the other language films are just a click away now.
If any hero announces any remake, it will be easier to find the story of that film by watching on OTTs with subtitles.
Doing remakes is almost considered to be an outdated idea. But still Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi are depending on them. While Pawan is working in the remakes of Pink and Ayyappanum Kozhiyum; Chiranjeevi is on Vedalam and Lucifer remakes.
As the number of subscribers for various OTT platforms has increased, the reach of those films is also increasing day by day.
At this juncture, it would be better if the heroes and the producers stop running behind remakes with huge budgets.
