There have been reports that the shooting of NTR's film 'Devara' is experiencing difficulties due to the large size of production and financial constraints.
However, the financial issues have been resolved after Netflix acquired the film's OTT rights for a significant sum.
Despite this, the action drama directed by Koratala Siva, 'Devara,' is currently facing a twin challenge. Saif Ali Khan, who plays the villain in the film, recently underwent tricep surgery.
Having already broken his tricep tendon, he sustained another injury while filming an action sequence for 'Devara.'
Saif will need to take a month off to fully recover. Although the team has nearly completed Saif's sequences, he will need to be filmed for some scenes in a new schedule after a month.
Adding to the dilemma, the film must contend with the potential disruption of Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections in April.
If elections are scheduled during the first or second week of April, "Devara" will not be released during that time. The film's release date has been announced as April 5, 2024.
According to sources, 'Devara' is currently exploring options for a new release date.
