Narcissistic Personality Disorder can be defined as - one of several types of personality disorders, is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others.
Wikipedia also says Narcissism is the pursuit of gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one's idealised self-image and attributes.
Nandamuri Balakrishna may fit into this definition. His self centric talk is not an objection to any one as long as he finds orgasm by self-praising and going highly verbal about his father. But when he insults others without any empathy, people start pointing fingers at him.
Today, on the occasion of NTR's 99th anniversary, Nandamuri Balakrishna said, "There are many who are writing books about my father. They are like cobwebs on the walls, frogs, lizards and cockroaches. I am planning to write a book about him. Nobody can write on par with me. Nobody can go deep into his life and write. Nobody knows anything. I will write a book in such a way that the future generations know more about him".
This arrogant talk didn't go well with anyone online. Many have started trolling him saying, "You made two parts of a film about your father and both turned out to be duds. What the hell are you writing in a book now?", wrote a netizen.
Another post on social media goes- "You learn to respect others first. You think too much about yourself. But we all laugh at your antics. You are only a real time entertainer for many. Nobody takes you seriously".
"Balayya seems to be suffering from NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder)", says another post.
Balakrishna continued to say, "The birth star of my father is 'moola'. Mine is also 'moola'. So, I will go to moolams (origins) and write a book on him".
It is needless to say that he insulted the writers of NTR's biographies by keeping Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi in his mind. Well, let us see what Balayya will write in his book.
