Director Vijay Kumar Konda’s last film Oka Laila Kosam released five years ago.
He grabbed the attention of Tollywood producers and stars with his blockbuster debut vehicle Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde. His second film got decent feedback but couldn’t be successful at the box office.
Vijay is returning after a hiatus with Orey Bujjiga, which is a make or break film to him and Raj Tarun, who is also running through lean phase in his career.
The makers were so confident about Orey Bujjiga’s outcome that they rejected many offers from OTT companies in the hope of releasing it in theaters.
They had finally opted to release it through Aha streaming service as there is no hope of resumption of theatrical business anytime soon.
As Orey Bujjiga gears up for direct to digital release on October 2, director Vijay Kumar Konda chatted with Chandana in an exclusive interview with GreatAndhra.
Vijay Kumar Konda is confident that Orey Bujjiga will impress one and all as it has ample comedy and all the elements to cater to youngsters and family audiences.
He says it will satisfy even those who watch it with high expectations. He says he was as confident as he was before Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde’s release.
