The sudden demise of Balli Durga Prasad, the MP of Tirupati led to the by-election.
The ruling YSRCP, the main opposition TDP as well as the Janasena-BJP coalition have successfully made their presence felt in the campaign.
But by the time of the election date, both TDP and Janasena-BJP made a hands-up. They understood that they were going to lose big in the election and tried to throw cold water on the ruling party alleging fake voting.
On 17th of this month, after the election, all the seven Assembly Constituency leaders in Tirupathi Lok Sabha region participated in a meeting along with Ministers Peedireddy Ramachandra Reddy, Perni Nani and Kodali Nani.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy came to know about the estimated majority constituency wise.
It is said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy understood that Dr Guru Murthy, the YSRCP candidate is going to win the Tirupati Lok Sabha seat with a majority between 4.8 lakh to 5.3 lakh.
It is also concluded that TDP is not in existence and it is not even needed to talk about Janasena-BJP as well.
In another week, the results are going to be announced and we will know how far this estimation is correct.
