Director Ramesh Varma delivered biggest hit of his career with the psychological thriller Rakshasudu.
He is presently directing Ravi Teja in a stylish action entertainer Khiladi.
The director makes an interesting statement saying, “I can’t disclose for now, whether Ravi Teja is playing dual or triple roles in the film. However, it is a first of its kind role for Ravi Teja.”
Ramesh Varma makes another interesting revelation that Khiladi is being made on large scale with a budget of around 65 Cr.
“The film was shot in Dubai, Italy and Hyderabad. The budget has been increased due to Covid. The story has huge span and technically it will be high in standard.”
He informs Arjun and Unni Mukundan’s roles will be as significant as Ravi Teja’s.
Ramesh Varma will be remaking Rakshasudu in Bollywood with Koneru Satyanarayana producing it.
He will also be directing Rakshasudu 2 and the director states it will be made as a Pan India project.
“We approached Vijay Sethupathi for Rakshasudu 2. He asked us to wait for his decision on the project. We will start the project at the appropriate time.”
Ramesh Varma is also planning to produce a film in association with director Maruthi and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar will be part of it.
