Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran's movie "The Goat Life" is scheduled for a theatrical release on the 28th of this month in Malayalam, as well as in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages.

The film, based on Benjamin's novel "Goat Days," is directed by the award-winning director Blessy, and it is bankrolled by the Visual Romance banner.

Mythri Movie Distribution Company is handling the release of the film in the Telugu States.

Today, the pre-release press meet for this movie was held in Hyderabad, with hero Prithviraj Sukumaran, director Blessy, Hollywood actor Jimmy Jean Lewis, and producers Y Ravi Shankar from Mythri and Shashi participating in the event.

Hero Prithviraj Sukumaran remarked, "Recently, I portrayed King Varadaraja Mannar in 'Salaar.' Now, in the movie 'The Goat Life,' I will be seen as Najeeb, a slave."

He added, "We committed to this film in early 2009. We began shooting in 2018, after ten years. Our schedules took us to Jordan in 2019, and we have since completed filming in Kerala. For this role, I gained weight and later shed 31 kg. We took a 7-month break between schedules to achieve this weight loss. Despite facing various challenges, including a COVID lockdown during shooting in Jordan, we persevered."
