Idle Directors Behind Remake Producers

Idle Directors Behind Remake Producers

If a director wants to make a film, the first requirement is a story. Directors used to make films with the stories of other writers in the past.

Now, the person who brings the story is a director. Or a director has to employ two or three ghosts to write stories. Some hero should like that story. This is a lengthy process.

If it is a remake, this process becomes simpler. They can make a scene to scene copy. Even if there are changes, the director will get an offer to direct a film.

Considering this, many directors who are idle without any work are after the producers. They are approaching the producers who recently bought the remake rights.

They are making calls to the producers and asking them, "I heard you bought the remake rights of that film. I will direct that film, I already watched it and I liked it very much. I have an idea of how to deal with it".

The funny part here is that they are not thinking whether they have dealt with such genre films in the past or not, but they are saying that they are ready.

No producer will buy the rights of a film unless he has clarity whether it works in Telugu or not. He will also have clarity on the hero, director to be roped in for the remake.

So, he will listen to these phones and ignores them because he will have clarity on whom to choose for his project. But the idle directors are just trying for some luck.
