Shot to fame with Jathi Ratnalu, director Anudeep KV is presently making a different rom-com Prince with Sivakarthikeyan. He has also provided story for the upcoming film First Day First Day.
Anudeep says the film’s story is very close to him.
“I’ve seen First Day First Show euphoria and fans celebrations at theatres. I used to watch most of the movies on first day first show. I had tough times to grab FDFS tickets of Pokiri. I’m a big fan of Pawan Kalyan. I like Venkatesh as well.”
The movie was made with new actors and the directors reveals the reason.
“For this kind of stories, known faces are not correct. Srikanth Reddy and Sanchita Bashu played their roles aptly. The movie also has experienced actors like Thanikella Bharani and Vennela Kishore.”
Debutants Vamsidhar Goud and Lakshmi Narayana together directed the movie.
“Initially, I was supposed to direct the movie. But due to my other commitments, I couldn’t do it. Vamsi liked the story and he was ready to direct the movie.
Vamsi suggested it would be better if the movie has another director. Then, Lakshmi Narayana came on board. Although I was not there during the shoot, my involvement was there in script, editing and BGM. I’m responsible for the film’s outcome.”
Anudeep KV’s directorial venture Prince is in last phase of shooting and is gearing up for Diwali release. He is also in talks for a film with Venkatesh.
