The success celebrations of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Gopichand Malineni’s Veera Simha Reddy under Mythri Movie Makers took place today.
Anil Ravipudi, Harish Shankar, Hanu Raghavapudi, Shiva Nirvana, Vishwak Sen, Siddu Jonnalagadda and a few others graced the occasion as guests.
Producer Naveen Yerneni said it’s a great responsibility for them to make a movie with Balakrishna, after the massive success of Akhanda and Unstoppable show. He also proclaimed that the movie became the highest-grosser for Balakrishna in 8 days.
Gopichand Malineni thanked his favorite star Balakrishna giving him the opportunity. “Veera Simha Reddy has fan moments as well as family moments. The movie indeed became a big hit with the support of fans and families. Though screen space was limited, Shruti Haasan did the movie for me, Balayya Babu and Mythri Movie Makers. Varalaxmi is an extraordinary actor like Urvashi and Sarada. Honey Rose showed lots of variations. This movie happened because of Naveen garu and Ravi garu. They gave me the chance, much before the release of Krack. My heartfelt thanks to them.”
Balakrishna expressed his happiness in doing a faction film after a long time. “When we were planning to do a movie together, I wanted to do a movie like Chenna Kesava Reddy (CKR). We had a wonderful journey doing this film. There are two villains in the movie. Both Duniya Vijay and Varalaxmi have done well. Shruti Haasan is a workaholic. The producer of Mythri Movie Makers are very passionate people. They have been making some good movies, without compromising on budget. My best wishes to them.”
