I See My Younger Self In Santosh Sobhan: Nani

The pre-release event of Santosh Sobhan and Faria Abdullah’s Like Share & Subscribe was held in presence of the team and the special guests.

Nani graced the occasion as the chief guest, and the event also saw directors Maruthi, and Nandini Reddy as other guests.

Nani recalled an incident of how he felt after watching Santosh Sobhan’s performance in Golconda High School. He told Santosh that both belong to the same school, i.e. Mohana Krishna Indraganti.

“I felt very happy seeing Santosh’s growth. I’m happy that he’s doing many promising films. I really see my younger self in him.

I hope the marathon of hits for Santosh Sobhan begins with Like Share & Subscribe. Faria was fantastic in Jathi Ratnalu.

It’s tough to handle comedy in the first movie for any actor. I still remember the courtroom scene. Both Santosh and Faria look great together. 

Everybody likes Gandhi, he’s such a sweet person. Had we told only Krishna’s story, it would have become a blockbuster. I hope we deliver a blockbuster with our next movie.

I’m looking forward to doing Bhale Bhale Magadivoy 2 with Maruthi. Venkat Boyanapalli has become my family. I hope he’ll do many great movies.”
