Hero Siddharth is making his comeback to Telugu, after ages with upcoming flick Maha Samudram co-starring Sharwanand and was directed by Ajay Bhupathi.
The film’s trailer that was out few days ago got overwhelming response. Siddu informs that another trailer will be coming and it may give some clarity on the film’s plotline.
Director Ajay Bhupathi during trailer launch said that Siddu was undergoing a surgery in London.
“I got injured, while shooting for Maha Samudram’s climax stunt sequence. I went to London for a small treatment, not for any surgery,” clarifies he.
Sid was looking for a good script in Telugu for last few years and he feels Maha Samudram is a perfect film for his comeback here.
“I gave my nod for the script in first sitting itself. The second reason for my interest to work with Ajay is I liked his first film RX 100. Many directors fail to score hit with their second film. But Ajay Bhupathi came up with such a great script that we don’t feel it’s his second film.”
Sid says he and Sharwa have their own reasons for doing this multi-starrer.
“Sharwa is a big star and he has big fan following. He’s a fantastic actor. While he has his own reasons for doing this multi-starrer, I have mine. It’s a legitimate multi-starrer. We both have individual love stories in the film. I and Sharwa shared wonderful chemistry, which will be more beautiful than the love stories.”
Both Siddharth and Sharwanand underwent different makeovers and they will appear in two different getups, as the story runs in two different timelines.
“Ajay wanted my look and Sharwa’s to be very different from our previous films. If someone compliments our look, then it’s the real makeover. We have been getting complements for our getups in Maha Samudram.”
Sid says Sharwa grew big as a hero in last few years.
“I don’t want to take any pressure and I feel happy to say that Maha Samudram is Sharwa’s film.”
He thanks his director Ajay Bhupathi for imagining him in the character. “It’s big complement for me as an actor, as he saw me in the character. It has much scope for me to perform.
I had chocolate boy image in Telugu. This movie will bring a different image for me. This will be a sure shot commercial blockbuster.”
Sid says he has no interest in joining politics adding he has been following all the developments regarding MAA elections.
