Ganesh Ravuri, the film critic turned dialogue writer, who is debuting with the film "Varudu Kavalenu'' has shared his insights in an exclusive interview to greatandhra.com.
When asked how he is feeling to see the film he worked on getting ready for film critics, Ganesh said, "One should not work keeping critics in mind. If I do that, I cannot move my pen. I worked with my gut feeling and now ready to face any sort of criticism".
Saying that he cannot write reviews anymore, he expressed "I wrote the dialogues for this film. I have seen the hard work and passion of every artist and technician while emulating the dialogue with their performance. After seeing all this, I decided not to judge anybody's film".
Answering a question related to ratings, he said, "I'm dead against the rating system in film reviews. Many times I expressed the same with our chief editor as well".
Sharing about how he got the opportunity to write dialogues for the film he said, "I got this opportunity because of greatandhra. Producer Chinnababu garu called me once to his office. When I went I saw greatandhra tabloid on his table. That was the week when my review on Saaho was published. In that I wrote a satirical line referring to Anjanathavasi which he liked. He said that he noticed some flair in me and offered me this job. I didn't change the given story anywhere but did my part in screenplay and dialogue writing meeting the commercial movie standards".
The film "Varudu Kavalenu" starring Naga Shourya and Ritu Varma is hitting the screens on October 29. Lakshmi Soujanya directed the film in the production of Suryadevara Naga Vamshi.
