His wife, popular actress Alia Bhatt, has already made her mark in Telugu cinema, having played the female lead in Rajamouli’s RRR. She has also been involved in promotions in this region.
It seems that both husband and wife are keen on capturing the lucrative Telugu market, regularly releasing their Bollywood films dubbed in Telugu.
Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up to promote her upcoming Hindi movie, Jigra. The Telugu trailer for the film was recently unveiled.
In Jigra, Alia will be seen in a never-before-seen, action-packed avatar, and anticipation for the film is at an all-time high.
Over the years, she has proven herself as a true pan-India actress, especially with the massive success of Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva and RRR.
Now, the Telugu release of Jigra marks yet another milestone for both Alia and Dharma Productions.
The film is set to release on October 11th.
