Bollywood superstar and National Award-winner Alia Bhatt, who has impressed audiences with her performances in films like Highway, Darlings, and Gangubai Kathiawadi, reportedly earned a substantial fee for her role in Jigra.
Though the film received mixed reviews and stirred some controversy, Alia still secured a sizable paycheck.
According to reports, she charged between Rs 10-15 crore for the project. This amount is nearly three times more than the film's opening day collection, which stood at Rs 4.55 crore in India.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra didn’t manage to pull in large crowds on its release day, but Alia's earnings reflect her growing status in the industry despite the film's underwhelming box office performance.
