Legendary lyricist Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry departed last year. Many filmmakers are openly using him to publicize their films after his demise.
Initially, through RRR team didn't claim that Dosti song written by him was the last lyric, many in social media declared that as his last one.
After a while Nani's 'Shyam Singha Raya' team claimed that Sirivennala wrote his last song only for them. The makers also released a special lyrical video as a tribute to him.
Now Maruthi is claiming that the song 'Janminchina Maraninchina Kharche Kharchu..Jeevinchadam adugadugunaa kharche kharchu' from his Pakka Commercial is the last song written by Sirivennela. Geeta Arts -2 crew also stated the same.
While the people are trying to make out which one is the last song of the great lyricist, now Karthikeya also joined the list. He started a new film with Neha Shetty as heroine. He says that his film is going to have Sirivennela's last song.
We have to wait and see how many more Sirivennela's last songs will come up down the line. It is ok to say that Sirivennela's songs are there in these films. But claiming every song as his last song is definitely disgraceful.
