Remember loud-mouth former MLA from Telangana Gone Prakash Rao?
After being in a virtual political oblivion, Prakash Rao is now back in the media limelight by donning the role of “political analyst,” making all sorts of comments against various leaders.
On Friday, Prakash Rao found fault with Y S Vijayalakshmi, widow of former chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Dr Y S Rajasekhar Reddy, for extending open support to her daughter Y S Sharmila in launching a new political party in Telangana.
“Vijayamma is still honorary president of YSR Congress party. How can she extend support to the formation of another political party by her daughter and participating in the latter’s programmes? Why hasn’t Jagan give show-cause notice to his mother?” Prakash Rao asked.
He further said there were some mistakes in Vijayamma’s book on late YSR.
“She mentioned in the book that Jagan was with his father during the latter’s padayatra. It is a lie. All along his padayatra, Jagan was nowhere in the picture. Only leaders like Ambati Rambabu, Lagadapati Rajagopal, Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and Sudheer Reddy were there with him,” he said.
Prakash Rao challenged that he would hang himself publicly in Tirupati, if anybody proved that Jagan had participated in YSR’s historic padayatra.
He said Jagan in Andhra Pradesh and K Chandrasekhar Rao in Telangana would go to jail if the Bharatiya Janata Party really wanted to target them.
He reminded that the BJP leaders had spoken about cancellation of Jagan’s bail, which would automatically lead to his arrest.
