How Balayya Fans Got Punished in the USA

The Telugu population is widespread across major American cities, and fans of every top Telugu hero can be found among them.

When the films of their favorite stars hit theaters, they go into a frenzy, eager to watch them with large crowds.

At such times, they often cannot contain their excitement and resort to behavior typically seen back in India—they shout loudly, throw paper pieces, and create a ruckus with whistles and other noises.

A similar incident occurred in a theater in Raleigh, North Carolina, with fans of Balakrishna.

As the fans began shouting excessively, the theater manager first issued a warning. As the shouts didn' stop, he stopped the DTS sound system.

This meant the audience had to watch the movie with only the basic sound directly from the screen, which significantly reduced the impact of a mass entertainer like 'Daaku Maharaaj'.

However, the fans continued to make noise, disregarding the warning. Frustrated, the theater manager abruptly stopped the screening of the film.

Afterward, the fans pleaded with the manager to resume the show. He eventually agreed but only under strict conditions and close monitoring.

This incident highlights how undisciplined and frenzied behavior from Balakrishna’s fans led to them being "punished" by a theater manager in the USA, like this.
